Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) said it has secured a mixture of five gas and crude tanker newbuildings in recent weeks, worth around $600m.
An unnamed Greek shipowner has ordered a 174,000-cbm LNG carrier newbuilding, the world’s largest shipbuilder said.
HHI said the order comes just days after NYK ordered a similar sized LNG carrier from HHI yard Samho on the back of a 20 year charter.
