Hoegh LNG has fixed one of its floating storage and regasification units on a decade-long charter, making good on its push for long-term employment.
The 170,000-cbm Hoegh Gannet (built 2018) will be employed by Terminal de Regaseificacao de GNL de Sao Paulo from either "late 2022 or early 2023".
A rate was not disclosed.
The Hoegh Gannett is currently working for Trafigura and had its charter with the commodities trader extended by a year in February.
