Seoul-listed Mipo says the deal involves two LPG vessels and an ethylene carrier.
In a statement to investors today the shipbuilder said the agreement was with a European client.
It did not disclose further details and calls to Mipo’s offices were unanswered after the close of the South Korean business day.
Data from Clarksons Research Services lists over 140 vessels on order at the shipbuilder, including more than 30 gas carriers.
