Germany's Hartmann Reederei has returned to Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering (CIMC SOE) for more gas carrier newbuildings.
The Leer-based company has signed up for three dual-fuel liquid ethylene gas (LEG) carriers for delivery in 2024.
Hartmann confirmed the order but did not disclose the price.
"It is correct that Hartmann Reederei has developed a new design for 7,200-cbm LEG carriers and placed an order for three of this ship-type at CIMC," said a Hartmann spokeswoman.
