Greece’s first floating storage and regasification unit is expected to kick off operations in October after technical issues delayed the start-up.
Bulgarian energy minister Vladimir Malinov said on Tuesday that the start of operations for the 155,000-cbm Alexandroupolis FSRU (built 2010) was delayed from April after a defect was discovered during connection of the pipeline linking the unit to the shore.
