Midstream LNG player and shipowner Golar LNG expects to have its first floating LNG (FLNG) production unit ready to start commissioning off Cameroon by mid-November.
Answering a question in the company’s second-quarter results briefing, chief executive Oscar Spieler said Hilli Episeyo — the world’s first LNG carrier-to-FLNG unit conversion — will probably produce only a small amount of LNG during the initial month, before volumes gradually increase.
