A tug-of-war between shipowner Golar LNG and layup provider Safe Haven Maritime over an LNG carrier has moved into court.
Safe Haven tells TradeWinds that a hearing was held in Indonesia last month over Golar’s 125,000-cbm Gandria (built 1977). It was attended by company representatives, others from subsidiary Baruna Bahari and officials from state energy company Pertamina.
But a Safe Haven spokesman says Golar did not attend the proceedings.
