Golar LNG’s BP-chartered floating LNG unit Gimi looks set to produce a long-awaited first cargo this quarter for the Greater Tortue Ahmeyim (GTA) project on the maritime borders of Mauritania and Senegal.
BP confirmed reports today that the first gas has started flowing from subsea wells into its floating production storage and offloading vessel for Phase 1 of the project off West Africa.
