Energy-hungry Germany is aiming to add a fourth floating storage and regasification unit as it ramps up alternative gas import plans in bid to shift away from Russian pipeline gas supplies.
According to Reuters, the country’s Ministry of Economics said in a progress report on 1 May that work on a first FSRU for the country will start shortly.
