Shipowner GasLog has yet to decide which LNG carrier it will use for its first conversion to a floating storage and regasification unit as part of a project for developer Gastrade’s Alexandroupolis LNG import project in Greece.

GasLog chief executive Paul Wogan said it could be one of the company 145,000-cbm ships or a 155,000-cbm dual-fuel diesel electric vessel but he added that a selection would be made before a final investment decision (FDI) is taken on the project in the fourth quarter.
