GasLog executives said they expect to announce a second floating storage and regasification unit contract by the end of the year.
Alastair Maxwell, the New York-listed LNG carrier owner's chief executive, told analysts today that the company continues to participate in several tenders for FSRU projects as well as in one-to-one discussions with potential counterparties.
"We remain encouraged by the number of potential opportunities for GasLog in this sector," he said after the Peter Livanos-backed company reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter earnings.
