GasLog and Shell have forged a deal that will keep an LNG carrier tied up year-round, ending the ship's annual return to the spot market.
The 155,000-cbm GasLog Skagen (Built 2013) had been on a seasonal charter with BG until 2021 that left it available for to other charterers for five months of the year.
Owner: GasLog

With Shell now in the driver's seat after swallowing up BG last year, the new charter will put the vessel on continuous charter until August 2019.
