Cyprus has selected three joint ventures in the first stage of a tender to provide an FSRU to import LNG, it has been confirmed.
The first joint venture is led by China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering and includes Greek companies Aktor SA and Metron SA.
The second is a joint Japanese-Korean group comprised of Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) as well as Samsung C&T, Posco E&C and Japanese utility Osaka Gas.
