Gas buyer Gail (India) is seeking an LNG carrier to take on time charter for several months in advance of what is expected to be a busy winter for tonnage.
Chartering sources said Gail opened for a vessel to take on hire for 120 days, with options to extend the period. It is seeking delivery in mid-September.
Gail initially indicated it would be looking for tonnage for multi-year hire.
