LNG is a cheap commodity, which cuts emissions and can create energy savings but the industry needs to move ahead quickly in an entrepreneurial way to speed up its adoption as a fuel, according to Golar chairman Tor Olav Troim.
Speaking at the Marine Money event in London Troim expressed his “frustration” at the speed of uptake in the industry to convert to LNG fuelling.
