Excelerate Energy said it will install a second floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) for Pakistan LNG Terminals.
The privately held company, which is in the midst of an ongoing sale process, says the second FSRU will be located across the Port Qasim channel from its existing unit the 151,000-cbm Exquisite (built 2009), which went into service March 2015.
Excelerate said the second FSRU contract follows the negotiations with a consortium of Shell, Fatima and Engro Elengy Terminal.
