A floating storage and regasification unit owned by Excelerate Energy has left Abu Dhabi after almost two years, following a change in the project’s LNG import requirements.
Data provided by global LNG flow forecaster iGIS/LNG shows that the FSRU Excelerate (built 2006) left its berth at the Ruwais refinery complex on 20 June.
The vessel appears to have loaded a cargo at Abu Dhabi’s Das Island terminal, which it discharged at Dahej in India before returning to the emirate, apparently for a second shipment.
