US-listed Excelerate Energy plans to put a first floating storage and regasification unit into operation in Finland in December.
In a third-quarter results presentation, Excelerate said the charter hire on the 150,900-cbm FSRU Exemplar (built 2010) started with Gasgrid Finland on 1 October.
The vessel is currently undergoing winterisation works in Spain and will start regasification services in the port of Inkoo in December, the company said.
