Evergas has stretched its ethane/ethylene carrier orderbook with a new order for up to six vessels.
The company said it will build four 32,000-cbm ships plus two options at a selected shipyard in China.
While no price was disclosed, sources suggest a figure of $77m per vessel.
It has placed the order alongside JHW Engineering & Contracting, a subsidiary of Jaccar Holdings.
