With Europe looking to wean itself off Russian gas, Dynagas LNG Partners appears ready to convert part of its ships to floating storage and regasification units (FSRUs).
On the New York-listed company’s third quarter conference call on Thursday, chief executive Tony Lauritzen said it was unlikely parent Dynagas Holdings would drop down either of its FSRUs.
But he said his company has conversion drawings ready for some of the LNG carriers already in its fleet.
