US-listed New Fortress Energy is buying two of EConnect Energy jettyless transfer units to move LNG from its upcoming floating LNG (FLNG) units in the US Gulf.
EConnect said it is building two of its IQuay units for delivery to New Fortress by December.
The IQuay unit will be positioned on New Fortress’ FLNG unit and will deliver LNG produced onboard the floater by hose to a moored LNG floating storage unit (FSU).
