Two floating storage and regasification units contracted by Greek shipowner Dynagas are being constructed with full trading capability to give them greater appeal to charterers.
Dynagas chief executive Tony Lauritzen said the company’s two 174,000-cbm FSRUs, which were ordered at Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) last year, are being built with twin propellers to allow them to sail at higher speeds and with greater efficiency than other comparable units.
