Avance Gas and BW LPG have picked up strong AG-India voyages, brokers and analysts report.
Avance’s 83,000-cbm Mistral (built 2014) has been fixed by IOC at $4.7m, which translates to around $140,000 per day.
The same charterer also took the 78,000-cbm BW Maple (built 2007) at $4.9m, or around $150,000 per day.
“We see the LPG market boosted by Indian demand presently, but also see the next three months as the peak earnings period,” said Erik Nikolai Stavseth of Arctic Securities.
