Germany’s Imperial Logistics International has ordered two new LPG ships from Dutch yard Veka Group.
The 110-metre, 2,850-cbm vessels will be capable of transiting canals, the company said.
Delivery is set for the second half of 2016. No price was given.
They will replace older gas ships, which will be removed from service. It has 17 similar vessels operating currently.
