New York-listed Dorian has secured a three-year contract for the 84,000-cbm Corsair (built 2014) and a one-year deal for the Cobra (built 2015).
John Hadjipateras, chief executive of Dorian, confirms the ships have been fixed to oil majors but declines to discuss details of the deals given confidentiality clauses in the contracts.
Shipbrokers say Shell is the charterer of the Cobra, which is arriving from Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries.
