Almost 50 LNG-fuelled newbuildings have been ordered this year, with March logging a record figure, according to classification society DNV.
Principal consultant Martin Wold said 21 LNG-fuelled ships were contracted in March — the highest monthly total since DNV began keeping records on alternative fuelling 10 years ago.
