Credit Suisse says seaborne volumes of LNG showed strong growth in the first half of the year, portending a firmer second half market. While vessel supply remains a concern, the bank and others sees the prospect for a tighter LNG shipping market for the rest of 2017.
Credit Suisse's Joseph Nelson cites data showing that seaborne LNG volumes were up 12% to 145 million tonnes for the first six months of 2017 versus the year earlier period.
