Idan Ofer’s LNG shipping venture Cool Company is sounding bullish on its latest two LNG carrier newbuildings and market prospects.
Announcing its second-quarter results, the company said: “CoolCo is in discussions with multiple charterers seeking work for the newbuilds.”
During the quarter CoolCo exercised its option to buy a pair of two-stroke, 174,000-cbm newbuildings from parent Eastern Pacific’s interests.
