Clarksons Research has revealed a positive start to the year for bulkers, LNG carriers and boxships.
In the first seven days of 2021, the firm's cross-segment ClarkSea Index of rates rose to $15,668 per day on Friday, a 3% jump from a week earlier.
This is also 6% higher than the average for last year, and 30% above the 10-year trend, Clarksons Research said.
