Singapore-listed Yangzijiang Shipbuilding and Sino-Japanese shipbuilder Nantong Cosco KHI Ship Engineering Co (Nacks) are aiming to join the small coterie of international shipbuilders capable of building large-size LNG carriers.
Shipbuilding sources said the two yards have been harbouring ambitions to enter the large LNG carrier segment for some time.
