Chevron is testing out LNG-fuelling by taking a Sovcomflot (SCF Group)-owned, dual-fuel aframax tanker on short-term charter.
The 113,232-dwt Korolev Prospect (built 2019), which is on charter to the US oil major, was bunkered with 600 tonnes of LNG supplied by Shell outside Port Canaveral in Florida.
