US producer Cheniere took a tranche of LNG carriers from the spot market to cover its cargo movements to Asia as it ramps up a fourth liquefaction train at its Sabine Pass LNG plant.
Cheniere Marketing’s Eric Bensaude, who is managing director commercial operation and asset optimization, told delegates attending CWC’s World LNG Summit in Lisbon that the company currently has 22 ships on the water.
