Celsius Tankers has ordered four 180,000-cbm LNG carrier newbuildings in China.
The quartet will be built by China Merchants Heavy Industry Jiangsu (CMHI-Jiangsu) and will support the growing LNG activities of Gunvor, one of the leading independent LNG trading companies in the world.
The newbuildings, due to be delivered in 2026 and 2027, have been time-chartered out to Gunvor subsidiary Clearlake Shipping under long-term contracts.
