Jeppe Jensen-led Celsius Tankers has ordered a single LNG carrier at Samsung Heavy Industries bringing its total on-order vessels at the yard to 10 ships.
Celsius said it had, with partners, contracted one 180,000-cbm for delivery by January 2026 which it said is fixed to a major charterer.
Announcing a new LNG carrier order today, without naming the owner behind it, SHI priced the newbuilding at around $250m.
