The world’s biggest VLGC owner said Ackermann will join the Oslo-listed company in Singapore as CEO once his contractual commitments have been finalised.
Ackermann has been CEO at Evergas since 2008.
BW LPG said he had led the rejuvenation of the former Eitzen Gas fleet, including the development of eight ethane carriers on long-term contracts.
