BW LPG appears to have made progress with its strategic plan to sell some of the oldest vessels in its 45-strong fleet.
Shipbrokers say the 83,000-cbm BW Confidence (built 2006) has been sold to a Vietnamese buyer for $45m, reflecting recent price rises.
In December, the Oslo-listed company which is by far the world's biggest VLGC owner, reportedly clinched a deal to sell the vessel for $40m, but the deal failed to complete.
