The New York-quoted operator alerted investors about the resignation of Robert Bugbee in a statement issued after the close Monday evening.
Dorian pointed out that Scorpio will be allowed to appoint a replacement but failed to shed light on the reasoning behind Bugbee's abrupt departure from the board.
"Scorpio will continue to have the right to be represented on the company's board," it said without elaborating further.
