BP has taken an LNG carrier newbuilding controlled by Evangelos Marinakis-backed Capital Gas on charter for a period of at least three years at a rate that sets a new benchmark for time-charter business.
Brokers said the energy major has fixed one of six LNG newbuildings that Capital Gas has ordered at Hyundai Heavy Industries in South Korea for delivery in 2020 and 2021.
