Sri Lankan authorities have deferred the bid submission deadline for companies looking to provide the country’s first FSRU.
Prospective contractors now have until 23 May 2019 to submit proposals, according to an update from the Ministry of Power & Renewable Energy.
The tender process was launched as a Swiss challenge after South Korean company SK E&S Co submitted an “unsolicited” proposal to supply a converted FSRU.
