Greek shipowner Benelux Overseas is renewing its LPG fleet with a purchase of a 17-year-old very large gas carrier from Astomos Energy of Japan.
Several European brokers say said the company purchased the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries-built, 78,000-cbm Gas Taurus (built 2001) for $20m.
Benelux officials were not available to comment by the time TradeWinds went to press, and Astomos Energy did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
