The company said net earnings to 31 March were $23.85m.
The only comparison it gave was the fourth quarter of 2014, which was a four-month period due to a change in its reporting dates. Profit here was $33.7m.
Revenue was $48.23m in the first quarter, compared to $64.4m in the four-month period.
Time charter equivalent (TCE) rates were $64,832 per day, compared with $64,629 in the three months ended 31 December.
