John Fredriksen's Avance Gas is in talks to fund its remaining four VLGC newbuildings at "attractive rates", its chief financial officer revealed.
The Oslo-listed shipowner has six 91,000-cbm dual-fuel carriers on order at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering in South Korea.
Chief financial officer Randi Navdal Bekkelund told analysts on a conference call that since 2019, the company has paid $78m related to its newbuilding programme.
