The repairs of defective stern tube bearings on the 83,000-cbm Breeze and Monsoon (both built 2015) were carried out under warranty, with supervision from the Lloyd’s Register technical investigation department, the Oslo-listed shipowner said today.

The Breeze left dry-dock at Jurong Shipyard in Singapore on Thursday and is undergoing testing before it starts gassing up operations on 28 May.

The Monsoon left drydock at Zhoushan Shipyard in China yesterday and will undergo sea trials.
