Japanese VLGC owner and LPG trader Astomos Energy is turning its attention to domestic shipping as it pushes to advance LPG fuelling as a realistic choice for shipowners.
Yoko Higashi, manager for business development planning, told TradeWinds the main target is ferries and small LPG carriers serving coastal areas.
She said this next phase of the company's project has just started with a meeting with one of the tanker associations in Japan.
