Astomos Energy Corporation has returned to the newbuilding area and ordered three more VLGCs at shipbuilders in Japan.
It has ordered two 82,200-cbm ships at Kawasaki Heavy Industries and a single 83,000-cbm vessel at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Shipbuilding.
The Kawasaki contracted ships are due for delivery in the first half of 2019, while the ship ordered at Mitsubishi is due for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2018.
