A quartet of small tankers auctioned last month as part of a dispute between Turkish tanker company Palmali and Russian lender Sberbank are with new owners.
The four 6,600-dwt sisterships were involved in Sberbank’s RUB 13bn ($205m) claim against Palmali LLC, the Turkish company’s subsidiary in Russia.
Ruling on the issue, a commercial court in Rostov declared the subsidiary bankrupt, as TradeWinds reported back in November.
