Ferry operator Fjord1 is forming a national tourism company in Norway with bus and cargo company NSB.
"The aim of the travel company is to provide eco-friendly travel packages throughout Norway, develop new tourist destinations and contribute to holistic tourism," it said.
The 50/50 venture will invest in new concepts itself, and in cooperation with local companies.
Per Saevik-backed Fjord1 is Norway's largest ferry company, with an increasing focus on eco-vessels as it wins state contracts for coastal routes.
