Wilhelmsen Ships Service (WSS) has launched a new all-day service following the inauguration of the expanded Panama Canal, a year after the upgrade of the Suez Canal.
The maritime services company has created 24/7 transit desks in both Panama and Egypt with Avance Gas as its first customer.
WSS’s maiden contract saw the 83,000-cbm Passat and Breeze (both built 2015) transit the expanded Panama Canal.
