The man responsible for handling the process of disposing of toxic loans at HSH Nordbank has left the lender.
Wolfgang Topp, 63, was chief of the distressed lending division at the German bank.
His departure is part of HSH’s effort to create a leaner management structure and prepare the bank for privatisation, Bloomberg reported.
Topp, who joined from Deutsche Bank in 2012, handed his responsibility to chief risk officer Ulrik Lackschewitz in June, when Stefan Ermisch took over as chief executive, a spokesman told Bloomberg.
