Wilhelmsen has 10 days to appeal the decision by Singapore authorities to provisionally oppose its $400m takeover of Drew Marine Technical Solutions.
The Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCCS) said it will then decide whether to issue a favourable or unfavourable decision, after consideration of the representations, as well as all available information and evidence.
“The parties may also offer commitments to address the potential competition concerns at any time before CCCS issues its decision at the end of the phase two review,” it added.
